The qualification you will be working towards is CIBTAC.
This course is designed to be a complete Beauty therapy course. It will include anatomy and physiology for all areas studied, client and treatment consultations, contra indications to treatments and contra actions, health and safety, sterilization procedures and professional conduct.

You will learn how perform a facials to included skin types, skin analysis, skin care, lash and brow treatments, massage techniques and benefit, use different types of electrical equipment used in salon treatment, mask types and uses and home care advice. Also in the course you will cover cosmetic ingredients and use professional products and by taking part in student salons you will gain a wide range of experience. |

| Make-up to include, corrective work for face, eye, nose and lip shapes, cosmetic ingredients, day, evening and special occasion make-up. Also how to use special cosmetic camouflage products and colour correction products and learn how to apply false lashes. |

Manicure and pedicure, to include contra indications, client consultation, nail structure, massage of hand and foot, paraffin wax masks for the hands and feet cream, pearl, French enamel procedures. Once you have successfully completed this part you will able to move on the nail technician Diploma. |
| Nail Technician is in strong demand with not just salons but the clients as well. You learn nail art, nail repairs and extensions, using various products and techniques. |

Waxing to include traditional methods of hot and cool wax, commercial systems that are available in the work place and the theory and practical delivery of waxing different areas, you will also cover bleaching of body and facial hair. In this we also include in this section auto tanning as the two go hand in hand. |

| With Body Massage you will learn how to perform a Swedish Body Massage with Figure Diagnosis, client consultation and be able to give advice about diet and nutrition. You will study the history of the subject and benefits. This is the corner stone for a more holistic career path. |

Body Electrical follows on from Body massage, you will learn how to perform Body Electrical treatments, that can aid spot reduction. These treatments include Galvanic, Faradic, G5, Vacuum Suction, High Frequency (direct and indirect) and Sauna, Infra Red Heat Treatments, all of which are used in industry today. |
OPTIONAL
To complete your overall Qualification as a Beauty Therapist, it is highly recommended that Electrical Epilation is included. The technique is Short Wave Diathermy, which is used in the permanent removal of hair. This Diploma allows the holder to progress onto different Post-Grad Techniques, the most well know being Red Vein and Skin Tag Removal. This course qualification also allows the holder to move into the field of Laser Hair Removal.
As part of the Full Time Beauty Therapy Certificate you will also attend lectures by outside companies, from recruitment to professional product companies. Also as part of the course requirements all the above subjects studied, you will also have to work in the student salon and produce case studies to support you learning criteria.
